Dana Keaton thoroughly enjoys creating unique, eye-catching pieces that women of all ages can wear and feel great in! Her many collections vary from season to season. She just completed her "Denim & Desserts Collection and is now working on her "Jolie Collection" for the Spring/Summer 2020 Season, she is focused on the woman who wants to go out to an elegant event and stand out in a crowd. Dana always likes to challenge herself to create new fashionable works of art. That is why each design stands on it's own as far as innovation and structure. Dana is currently branching out in other U.S. cities. Dana is also a fashion educator and is currently teaching her award-winning Fashion Design and Modeling program to youth ages 8-17. Her students have been featured in various events all over Detroit and have been published in domestic and international magazines. Dana serves as a mentor to future up and coming designers and aspiring models all over the Detroit Metro area.
Dana is currently studying "Women's Entrepreneurship" at Cornell University. She also has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management, an MBA and a degree in Fine Arts.
Dana has been dabbling in the fashion industry for many years. She started out as a runway model and when approached with a career debaggle, she decided to open her own business as a fashion designer.
Dana has worked with some of the top celebrities in the business and have been published and featured in Vogue Magazine, Detroit News, CNN, Fox 2 News, BLAC Magazine, Hour Magazine, Papier Magazine and many more.
Dana serves as the Education Chair for the prestigious "Detroit Fashion Community (DFC)" which is a new 501(c)(3) organization with a purpose to provide support, resources and community outreach programs and partnerships that will help creatives in fashion, beauty, music, culinary arts, artists, interior design, and the auto industry in Detroit thrive!
Dana is also a Partner in the "Top Model Workshop (TMW)" which was formed to educate and connect the fashion communities of Michigan, specifically Metro Detroit. This includes designers, models, photographers, hair and makeup artists, and fashion stylists. We believe there is an opportunity for major growth in the Southeast Michigan fashion industry. Our goal is to connect models, fashion professionals, industry insiders and beauty professionals to more paid opportunities, as well as provide exposure and visibility to the Detroit fashion industry.
